Gummies Help Create Delicious Dishes!

Gummy candy is obviously something that is near and dear to our hearts here at Land Of The Gummies.  Everything from gummy bear candy that everyone knows and loves to gummy worms and gummy sharks.  Each of them on their own are great snacks that can bring a delight to your taste buds and put a smile on your face.  But what if you want to take your gummies to the next level?  There are so many different ways that you can enjoy gummies and the possibilities are endless!

We have scoured the web to find you some of our favorite recipes that utilize gummies in unique ways and put them in one place for you.  You can use just about any gummy candy in all of these recipes, so get ready to get inspired!  We’ve got you covered with our wide selection of delicious gummies to take these recipes from ordinary to extraordinary.

Chocolate covered gummies – Of course we had to start off the list with another sweet favorite, chocolate. And if you’re going to use something as recognizable as chocolate, then you have to start with the most recognizable gummy.  Gummy bear candy.  When it comes to gummy candies, the gummy bear is the quintessential candy that everyone thinks of.  So iconic and such a traditional candy, you might think that there isn’t a single way you could improve upon them!  Well here it is!  And the best part is you only need three ingredients! via The Gunny Sack.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Premium Chocolate Chips
  • ½ Tablespoon shortening
  • 1 Cup quality Gummy Bears

 

Instructions:

  • Put milk chocolate chips and shortening in a small bowl.
  • Microwave for 1 minutes at 50% power and then stir.
  • Return to the microwave for another 30 seconds at 50% power and stir again.
  • Continue heating chocolate in 15 second intervals at 50% power, stirring in between until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Put several gummy bears into the chocolate and stir to coat.
  • Remove the gummy bears one at a time with a fork making sure that the gummy bears are tipped on their side when you scoop them out. That way when the gummy bear can be tipped off of the fork onto its flat back.
  • Place the chocolate covered gummy bears on a parchment covered baking sheet.
  • Finish dipping the desired amount of gummy bears, melting more chocolate as necessary.
  • Place the baking sheet in the fridge to allow the chocolate to set.

Gummy Ice Pops – Just in time for spring and summer, gummy ice pops are a great way to cool off and still enjoy your favorite candy. This would be a great way to use our gummy sharks to create a snapshot of them swimming through the water!  Your kids will love to help you make these and enjoy eating them even more.  This one is so simple and so easy that you will want to make them all the time!  What’s not to love here?  via Kirbie’s Cravings.

Instructions:

  • Fill molds with juice about 2/3 full. Add gummy sharks.
  • Freeze several hours.

 

Gummy Sangria – Don’t worry adults. The gummy fun doesn’t have to just be for the kids!  We’ve got a great drink that you can have and still partake in the gummy candy fun.  You can make this sangria and enjoy a nice evening while you unwind.  The gummies make it whimsical and allow you to get creative.  You can use just about any gummy in this recipe too!  Maybe you want to save this one for Halloween when you can give people a fright by using gummy worms!  Just like our last two recipes this one is simple to create and easy to enjoy.  Let us know how yours turned out!  Via Pepper.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white wine, chilled
  • Juice of 2 oranges, chilled
  • 1 pack gummy worms
  • 1 cup Sprite, chilled
  • 1 pc orange, chilled and sliced
  • 1 pc lime, chilled and sliced
  • 1/2 Fuji apple, chilled and chopped into pieces
  • 1/2 pc red delicious apple, chilled and chopped into pieces
  • Ice, as desired

Instructions:

  • Mix everything together in a pitcher.
  • Serve
